Southmead Community Sport has set up a new junior football club to be based at the Community Sports Ground, on the old Pen Park School site, off Pen Park Road, Southmead. From Saturday 19th January, 11.00am start, we are holding a series of 4 Saturday Open Days to allow children to come along and take part in some fun football activities like Five a side matches, Penalty Competitions and Crossbar Challenge. Boys and Girls of all abilities are welcome, especially between the ages of 5 to 11 years. The open days will give parents and their children time to view our facilities and to meet the people who are to run the club.

From Saturday 16th February, a weekly training session will be held for those children who would like to join their new local club to play football whilst having fun in a safe environment. We have two F.A. Level 1 coaches to organize the sessions and all the coaches have been CRB checked. Entry to the Saturday Open Days is Free of Charge.
